drug addictions and crime

Please God have mercy on this young man. He did not have a gun. A guy with a severe addiction problem that acted in a desperate way while under the influence. No excuse for what happened, but until you have dealt with an addiction you won't ever understand. He's a good guy with a loving heart that also happens to have been struggling with a serious addiction for a while now. So sorry this had to happen in his life.

This addiction......or was this a series of bad choices? Don't enable him by making excuses. Being in jail right now is probably the best thing for him. If this doesn't scare him straight nothing will.
