The Fayette County Women's Connection is holding its annual Country Fair Oct. 19, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost if $12.50 inclusive for the luncheon. There is a complimentary nursery.

In preparing this Comprehensive Plan Update, the town is soliciting input from local residents, business owners and other community stakeholders.

Fall Festival next weekend

Union City will hold the 16th annual Fall Festival October 13, 14, and 15 at Shannon Mall. PTC biker dies after crash with golf cart

A Peachtree City man whose bike crashed into a golf cart Friday afternoon has died, police said.

James V. Earle, 64, had suffered a critical head injury during the crash and was flown to Atlanta Medical Center. He was wearing a bike helmet at the time, but it cracked during the collision, police said.
