All students of the Fayette County School System will be dismissed from classes early on October 19 so that teachers can use the afternoon for professional training.

The dismissal times for school levels are as follows: elementary, 11:30 a.m. middle, 12:35 p.m. and high, 12:15 p.m. Parents are asked to be aware of the early release times and make necessary arrangements for their children in advance. Buses will be available to take students home at the early release times.

October 19 is the first of two early release days approved for this school year. The next early release day will be February 16, 2007.
