The Patreaus/betray us add received congressional attention led by House and Senate GOPers. We passed a House Measure to condemn ads that attack soldier's integrity and honor. It’s understandable why cyclists would desire to ride on our semi-rural roadways in Fayette County. It’s also understandable why a motorist would occasionally desire to fling a car door open on a cyclist. But, what we’ve lacked in these debates are some quality alternatives that would work out for all of us and lessen the cycling on our roadways, thus enhancing our traffic safety. d.smith700: DestructionThe 1980s demise of the democrat party caused by the hypocrite extreme evangelical right, has now caused the same destruction of the hypocritical right side republicans, if not most republicans. Doug: Ok, I can't take it anymore: time to fightI'm at the point now where I could get in the ring with Harold Logsdon and the council people and duke it out. I used to tell my neighbors to give Logsdon the benefit of the doubt. Then he lied on taxes twice, but I was still civil about it. thebeaver: Another article about the Jena 6 casethebeaver: HillaryCare Door Wide Open to Illegal AliensGit Real: A Tribute To All The Moms Out ThereFyt35: Ahmadinejad and Chavez team upWow, Heckle and Jeckle are at it again. Question: deleteddeleted lmhenderson03: Happy EndingsThe newspaper is a wonderful resource for daily information regarding our society. However, I feel that every so often it would be nice to read something positive and inspirational. So, I decided to make that happen to help readers for a moment feel that there's hope and goodness out there. Fyt35: Terrorism and gay rightsThe bright scholars on capitol hill have come up with a new one, senate Democrats and some Reps have attached hate crimes legislation to the massive bill funding the Defense Department and the Iraq war. Here are some of the excerpts: John Munford: Riverdale billboardI kid you not folks. A legal firm has a Riverdale billboard advertising its services. I forget the others, but one is Mastercard-worthy priceless. bladderq: Trader Joes is in PTC...well at least the Lil Kroger has 2buck Chuck for $2.47 w/ your card, if you didn't throw it away. eodnnaenaj1: No responseShortField: Right with the worldI finally feel like everything is right with the world. The bulldogs find a way to win, Ga Tech finds a way to lose, and the Falcons find ways to lose. Not to mention that the Falcons and the Saints are in stiff competition for the worst record and the corresponding first round draft pick. Yep..... I'd say everything is just about right with the world. oldbeachbear: 3 Riverdale kids in school at home sellers expenseI just talked to a real estate friend who told me about the closing in her office 'that wasn't' last week. It seems a contract put on a house in Fayette county by someone living in an apartment in Riverdale with 3 kids. eodnnaenaj1: BTWCitizen_Steve: US News names PTC as one of the 10 Best Places to RetireShortField: No Pets? One more rant for today. While I was looking up the link for the Great Georgia Air Show a minute ago, I notice that for increased security the Air Show is not allowing coolers, back packs, or pets. ShortField: Missing The Air ShowFirst, let me admit I am plain nuts, but not a plane nut. September 23, 2007 hutch866: High School FootballI've been going to FCHS football games for a couple or three years now and I've enjoyed it, for the money you won't find better entertainment but this year my daughter is a freshmen and the games have a new meaning, beside the fact that the Tigers are 4-0, now that I have an emotional involvment in the game they are so much more enjoyable and watching the Band at halftime is an even more enjoyable event, these kids spend so much time practicing their routines and programs and at FCHS it shows, the Band hasn't lost a step with the retirement of Kenny Beard, Miss Myra Rhoden hit the ground running and the band is as good as ever, and the football team is better then ever { thank you Tommy, and the kids} This has got to be the most exicting fall for my family ever and I thank all of those responsible, adult and kid alike, and when you hear that voice in the stands, yeliing for the ball players and band alike, know that the hutch is proud of you, and that the price of the ticket does not come close to the fun I get in return.
