One more rant for today. While I was looking up the link for the Great Georgia Air Show a minute ago, I notice that for increased security the Air Show is not allowing coolers, back packs, or pets.

A Sunday drive in Braelinn Village on Robinson Road and Peachtree Parkway revealed at least five real estate for sale or open house signs with balloons attached. On one sign in the median of Peachtree Parkway, the balloons were already deflated and laying in the grass.

There were many exciting football games this past weekend, including Georgia's win on the road against Alabama, Florida holding on for a win over Mississippi and Fayette County beating Woodward Academy to remain the only undefeated team in the county, among others.

Thank goodness this season has come to an end. I have had season ticket's for four years, and this is the worst yet. Not sure I'll renew next year.

Both the race baiters and the overzealous authorities should be ashamed of themselves...

Ugliness on All Sides in 'Jena 6' Case

I've been going to FCHS football games for a couple or three years now and I've enjoyed it, for the money you won't find better entertainment but this year my daughter is a freshmen and the games have a new meaning, beside the fact that the Tigers are 4-0, now that I have an emotional involvment in the game they are so much more enjoyable and watching the Band at halftime is an even more enjoyable event, these kids spend so much time practicing their routines and programs and at FCHS it shows, the Band hasn't lost a step with the retirement of Kenny Beard, Miss Myra Rhoden hit the ground running and the band is as good as ever, and the football team is better then ever { thank you Tommy, and the kids} This has got to be the most exicting fall for my family ever and I thank all of those responsible, adult and kid alike, and when you hear that voice in the stands, yeliing for the ball players and band alike, know that the hutch is proud of you, and that the price of the ticket does not come close to the fun I get in return.
