to the cheerleading mom with the rude childrenYou may not feel the need to teach your children manners or common courtesy, but kudos to the waitress who realized they deserve a chance at civility and informed the principle. Just because they won a football game, throw all manners and respect out the window? They may be middle schoolers now, but what msg are you teaching them for future use? When you win that high school game and are so excited that you want to peel wheels and speed, or that you want to celebrate by drinking or drugging up, well go ahead, after all your team won! Come on, I'm all for celebrating, but I also belive we need to teach our children that there are boundaries. Don't contribute to the decline of civility just because it feels good at the moment. I'm not attacking you, just asking you to please think about this as a parent and role model. lovediscounts's blog | login to post comments |
