Destruction

The 1980s demise of the democrat party caused by the hypocrite extreme evangelical right, has now caused the same destruction of the hypocritical right side republicans, if not most republicans.
This is what happens in our history every time religion gets their thoughts mixed into governing any area.
It is not that religion is wrong, just wrong for a government! Caesar must be Caesar, not the Pope or the Dali Lama, or even Billy Graham.

I have discovered that many think when someone says religion of one kind or another should not try to be politicians or run government, they take that statement as being against religion, of one kind or another---especially Christians.
It is just the opposite! The best way to destroy Christianity, or any religion, is to put it in charge of government.
Those not of that "faith," will work diligently to destroy them.
It is now possible in the USA to be elected to national office as a Catholic, Jew (not yet) Mormon (not yet) or a different race than white (not at highest level yet). Even, maybe, a woman as President.
Shoving religion down others throats only causes disturbance and lack of attention to details of government.
Just recall the 7000 years of distress in the rest of the world where they try to run things with religious rules!
Give Caesar what he wants in material things, and obey his laws so we can survive.
