No Pets?

One more rant for today. While I was looking up the link for the Great Georgia Air Show a minute ago, I notice that for increased security the Air Show is not allowing coolers, back packs, or pets. Pets? While I can’t stand these folks that take their dogs with them to these type of events, does this really make us more secure to not have them. Are we now on the look out for an illegal alien packing a Chihuahua IED? “Attention all officers, be on the look out for known terrorist, believed to be carrying small trembling yappy dog. Dog is believed to be heavily armed.” I can see the headlines now, “Mass Shitzu Migration Prompts Home Security Increase to Code Red”. Did I misspell Shiatsu? Oh well, freudian slip there. I like the “leave the pets at home” policy, but I really question the increased security.

It's for your safety. Example: my son is afraid of dogs no matter how cute they are. I can't explain it but it's probably a healthy fear in some respects.

Anyway, let's say your dog jumps my kid. Guess who's up in your face about it ... assuming I haven't knocked you to the ground first for being an IDIOT for bringing your mutt.

So like I said, its for your safety.

Most pets don't enjoy the show as much as the rest of us do. A few dogs enjoy flying, but most have to be given pet valium.

I understand there is a sleeper cell of "Afghans" around. Recently, they have been spotted marking their territory!

People, for the most part, will not clean up after their pet.

Oh yeah, who pays to watch the air show? Smiling
