Bush continued to spend to the point of breaking Lyndon Johnson's record by increasing the size of government. He borrowed from nations that are not the friendliest such as China, and Saudi Arabia contributing to the current financial crisis, while the federal reserve printed money out of thin air devaluing our currency. Bush passed massive tax cuts that favored the wealthy, and did nothing to address the budget deficit.

Horgan played the race card when he beat Virgil Flood. He was the first fayette countian to put his white picuture on his signs so people would make sure they did not vote for the college educated black man. It worked. Now that there is a cry out for his resignamation it would serve the county well to diversify and appoint Mr Flood. If racism didn't play a part in the dope smoking white guys winning we would have a good educated black man bringing a fresh voice and perspectuve. This overt racism is an injustice that shows even with President Obama white america has a long way to go to achieve real justice.

On Tuesday my son came home with an envelope from the FCBOE that was addressed to me and they wanted me to check it and make sure that the address was correct. It went on to say that due to the Financial difficulties that FCBOE is facing we were to put postage on the envelope and send it back to school. It stated that if you didn't affix postage that your child would not receive their report card for the end of the year and that you would have to go to the welcome center to pick it up. Now don't get me wrong, my problem is not the 44 cents, it is them asking for postage due to their gross mismanagement of funds that we as Tax Paying Citizens provide them with. In the last 5 years my property taxes have increased by $500.00 and it was due to increases put forth by the FCBOE.
