New Whitewater Middle School Dress Code

Can anyone tell me why WMS is banning tank tops on girls that are worn over or under other tops even when the girls are completely covered?

And does anyone know the reason that headbands are to no longer to be worn by girls at WMS?

I'm not here to be critical. I'm certain that perhaps they have very good reasons for these new rules. It would just be nice to to be able to explain the reasons to my son and daughter in a sensible way.

I promise I am NOT trying to be a smarty pants, but have you asked any of the administration for an answer? It isn't a hard thing to do as far as a phone call, or an e-mail or God forbid a face to face question?
Just curious as to why you'd ask this question online first before the people that make the policy, (I'm assuming you haven't asked any admin, sorry if I am wrong)

No I haven't asked. Yet. I will. I have not gotten around to the school to be able to ask someone in the know. I thought maybe in general conversation on here I might find out while giving other parents a heads-up of this new dress code. Looks like no one really knows so I will have to call I suppose to find out why my daughter can't wear her headbands to school.
