Opening another can of worms! FCHS Graduation

FCHS graduation last night was great except for two things.
The speaker's remarks in my opinion were totally inappropriate. This should have been about the graduating class, not about his political views. He did not receive a good response from where I was sitting.

The other thing...why was the old van parked on the field blocking part of the view! Anyone know???

BTW Hutch, the band was wonderful.

Thank you, without a doubt the best band on the southside even shorthanded. BTW, tell your nephew from this old scopedope (OS) outstanding work, and yes the media never shows the good things because they don't sell the ads.

C'mon Hutch. Where's your love for "The C?"

I had to shoot three graduations last night. My co-worker Ben had to shoot two. All started at the *same time*!

We were lucky to get decent shots of graduates at each. There was no time to focus on anything else but the grads.

We do have awesome local HS bands, and I tapped along with the Star Spangled Banner which was well played at Whitewater. Eye-wink

As for the band love, our Wednesday paper had a nice shot of the McIntosh band as they played at Fayetteville's Memorial Day ceremony. See, we do cover *good* news!

Who took pictures at FCHS? I am very upset that my oldest grandchild's picture is not front and center here on The Citizen! Eye-wink

I would still like to know...why was the old van parked on the field?

on the media thing I was talking about Tug's nephew in the Navy, over in the Middle East, not here. Don't be so sensitive.

Sorry, I thought the media remark was about graduation since Tug's post was about graduation.

I'm a little thin skinned in this instance. Our photo coverage was intensive AND was online graduation night.

Isn't a problem John, although I do think Tug has a legitimate case about her grandson, why wasn't he front and center?
