My G. Nephew Chris is back from the Middle East and is in San Diego safe & sound!! We are so thankful. Please remember all the other men/women who are still over there and if you pray say a prayer for them.

The Lightning softball team finished the season with a 15-0 record! Congratulations to my granddaughter, all the other girls, and the coaches!

Does anyone know who had the Military Funeral at Camp Memorial Park on 54 E. today? Lots of cars, and Helicopter hovering. I haven't seen any news reports. It should be front page, top story.

FCHS graduation last night was great except for two things.
The speaker's remarks in my opinion were totally inappropriate. This should have been about the graduating class, not about his political views. He did not receive a good response from where I was sitting.

The baccalaureate service was very nice. Good speaker & the FCHS chorus is great!

My oldest grandchild graduates tonight, I'm so proud of him!

My g-nephew Chris is on this ship and participated in this rescue. I have a email picture of him holding a small child. So very sad, but ended well.

Thanksgiving is a day we pause to give thanks for the things we have.

Memorial Day is a day we pause to give thanks to the people who fought for the things we have.

Sonny Perdue, we now have 81 homeless veterans kicked out of their home. I saw this on the news tonight and it broke my heart. This is a disgrace!

I've been thinking about you and Mrs. Muddle. I hope she's home, not still in the hospital, and both of you are doing Ok.

One of my friends won four tickets to the Beach Boys concert at Chastain Wednesday night. (Citizen contest) She is unable to go. Would you like to have them?

A lawyer purchased a box of very rare and expensive cigars, then insured them against among other things, fire. Within a month, having smoked his entire stockpile of these great cigars and without yet having made his first premium payment on the policy the lawyer filed a claim against the insurance company. In his claim, the lawyer stated the cigars were lost "in a series of small fires."

Is it just me, or does anybody else think this story is phony? I always thought if you were in the CIA and you were outed, it would be an automatic death sentence.

Muddle,have you been there? I went with some of my children this weekend.

I thought of you when I saw the Allman Brothers Band display. We also rode the tour bus around the city. The tour guide drove down the street, where Gregg Allman and Cher lived when they were in town.

I want to share something very nice that happened to me today. All of my grandchildren pooled their money and took me out to lunch today!
