Nice Things

I want to share something very nice that happened to me today. All of my grandchildren pooled their money and took me out to lunch today!

Two of them are teens and I'm sure they had better things to do. This meant a lot to me, they touched my heart.

Also, yesterday a group of us were eating lunch at Popeye's in PTC. A very elderly lady, all alone, got her food and sat down to eat. A young couple sitting next to her started talking to her. The man got up and got condiments etc. for her. The lady was laughing and talking to them. I'm sure this couple made her day.

There are still some very kind people here.

If any of you have had something kind happen to you recently, share it. It will be a nice change instead of all of our complaining.

Another nice thing

I was in the Fayetteville Post Office this afternoon when a customer returned to pick up the billfold she had accidentally left on a counter earlier. Someone had turned it in rather than walking off with it. We do have nice people here!
