The ATM machine stolen from Regions Bank in Peachtree City early Monday morning has been recovered, police said.

The thieves were able to gain access to the interior of the machine and were able to get a large sum of money, police said.

Burglars hit a home in the Smokerise subdivision in Peachtree City Monday between 9 a.m. and noon, police said.
The suspects got away with watches, wedding rings and money, police said.

Neighbors reported seeing an older white pickup parked in front of the home at 204 Smokerise Trace at the time, police said. The truck had a drive-out tag on the back and police have issued the above photo which is thought to be the suspects’ truck.

Thieves used a front-end loader just after 4 a.m. today to rip an ATM machine out of the ground at the Regions Bank at 100 Kedron Drive in Peachtree City, police said.

Police are seeking the public’s help in solving the crime. The front-end loader was stolen from a construction site, and police believe it was driven north on Ga. Highway 74 to reach the bank. The front-end loader may have been followed or led by a second escort vehicle, police said.
