Herobox, a non-profit organization that sends care packages to troops overseas, is seeking volunteers for its latest “boxing” event.

Interested persons are invited to help Sunday starting at 1 p.m. at Peachtree City Christian Church, located at 500 Kedron Drive in Peachtree City.

Herobox is based in Peachtree City and strives to customize the care packages for particular soldiers’ needs, which can vary depending on their gender, location and other factors.

Herobox also seeks monetary and item donations to provide Heroboxes to soldiers who have not been otherwise sponsored or adopted by area residents.
