I'm posting this because I believe it is important for voters to know the candidates that they will be voting for in November. Much has been posted about Obama's church and the subject of a candidates' Church and religion appears to be very important to many voters. Here are some facts and observations regarding Sarah Palin's Church and religious beliefs that should be considered, since she MAY be just a heartbeat away from the Presidency:

James Taranto, from Best of the Web on the Wall Street Journals website, gave this interesting tid bit of humor. I thought I'd share it, well, because its funny, and because its true, IMHO.

Irl Stambaugh and Mary Ellen Emmons said letters signed by Palin were dropped on their desks Thursday afternoon telling them their jobs were over as of Feb. 13 and that they no longer needed to report to work.

In 2006 candidate Palin said she would fund abstinence-only education programs in schools. "The explicit sex-ed programs," she added, "will not find my support." The stance, which reflected the priorities of the GOP, nevertheless led to an incredulous editorial in the Juneau Empire.

Albert Einstein once said, that the definition of insanity, is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results.

History will look back on this election as historic, but the short term effect of having an Halfrican American or an X chromosome American being elected gives this a lot of media attention. But, the real history that is being created will be the effect of these decisions in decades to come.

The old one has truly lost it. Palin might be the most wonderful person in the World but she is NOT qualified to be President of The Most Powerful Country in the World. What was he thinking? He cares nothing for this Country, if he can pick a VP, who is a soccer Mom, with 5 kids, Good God. I don't care if she is/was the Governor of Alaska. Of what, under a million people. SHE IS NOT QUALIFIED! McCain met her once. How can you get to know someone after one meeting. You Can't!

In an obvious attempt to capture disgruntled Hillary supporters, McCain tapped hockey-mom and Alaska Governor, Sarah Palin (no relation to Michael) as his VP (Palin is currently under investigation for "abuse of power").

Last night, Where was the ringing endorsement of Obama’s character, leadership and readiness to be Commander-In-Chief? Nowhere. Her tepid support of Barack Obama and extremely self-centered remarks will prove to be her own political eulogy. It also leaves little doubt about who she will be voting for in November. Bill, Chelsea, and Hillary will all be voting for John McCain. Because, it’s all about the Clintons. How dare the Dems nominate a novice instead of a pro? When Obama loses the election, be prepared for a big Shrillary, “I told you so.” Clearly, her eyes are set on 2012.

"Treason! Impeachment! Politics at it's worst!" was blogged over and over about Scooter Libby, Karl Rove, and George Bush.

McCain puts his ambition first, before his personal beliefs, and declines to push to change the Republican platform for 'abortion exceptions' in cases of rape, incest, and/or danger to the life of the mother. Another McCain flip-flop which should send a signal to women that he will put his own ambitions ahead of a woman's right to control her own body, even in cases of rape, incest, or health.

I've been out of town and missed the first showing of the Rick Warren's debate at his Church on Saturday night on CNN. (Thank God for TiVo.)

It was extremely disturbing to hear about Arkansas State Democratic Party Chair Bill Gwatney being shot dead yesterday at the State Democratic Party Headquarters. This sounds eerily similar to the recent Unitarian church shooting by a wacko because of the liberal leanings of that particular church.

If Obama is right, then when is he going to start pushing for mandatory government inspection of tire pressures and tests to ensure automotive engines are running at peak efficiency throughout the realm?
