Obama, Tire Pressures and, the Exploitation of Oil Resources

If Obama is right, then when is he going to start pushing for mandatory government inspection of tire pressures and tests to ensure automotive engines are running at peak efficiency throughout the realm?

The other question is, we seem to be at loggerheads over exploiting domestic oil resources because of the environment. So why is it OK to exploit oil resources in other areas world? Do we just turn our back to it and say our environment is much more precious then other areas? For example, some say that ANWR is much too environmentally sensitive, but it is sure OK for the Russians to exploit their Arctic regions and sell on the market so we can use it.

I never thought about legislating over sovereign Russian territory. Brilliant!

Assuming you are a cyclist, I'm sure you realize how ridiculous checking tire pressure is. Furthermore, as John McCain battles skin cancer, maybe we should chastise him for his equally absurd suggestion that one use sunscreen.

Josh.
