With its year-to-date sales, Prudential Georgia Realty has taken top honors in real estate market share for Fayette County. The company has two offices in the county---the Peachtree City office, located at the busy intersection of Hwys. 54 and 74 in The Avenue Shopping Plaza and the Fayetteville branch at 834 S. Glynn Street. Prudential Georgia Realty has sold more property in number of units sold in Fayette County than any other real estate company this year, according to Trendgraphix reporting.

An Inconvenient Review of November Fayette County Sales

A December real estate column in The Citizen reported that so far in 2007 Fayette County single family homes sold on average for 97% of their listing price. Furthermore, the market time for those sold listings was about 97 days or little more than three months. That’s great news! And it was factual in that the Georgia MLS offers agents a “Market Statistics Report” that will give exactly those very metrics.

Sales malaise still affecting Fayette County in November Listing Performance Review

Last month in The Citizen, I reported that calendar-year 2007 sales of Fayette County single-family listings peaked in June at 204 listings sold. I also observed that, by October, sales had fallen dramatically to 111 listings sold; a 45.6% decrease from the June peak. With another month of data now analyzed, it is apparent that the sales malaise affecting Fayette County listings continued through November with only 92 listings sold.

Coldwell Banker real estate offices are collection areas for Toys for Tots campaign

Thursday, Dec. 20, is the final day to bring toys and financial contributions to the Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty and Coldwell Banker American Land Mart offices which are serving as drop-off points for the annual U. S. Marine Corps Reserve “Toys for Tots” campaign.
