Lake Windsong hosts fall Tour of Homes, Nov. 11-12Lake Windsong, one of the area’s most popular lake communities, is hosting a Fall Tour of Home this week-end to showcase new luxury custom homes. Visitors may tour several of Lake Windsong’s historically inspired Southern traditional, Craftsman design, and spacious ranch plans on Saturday, November 11 from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sunday, November 12 from 1-5 p.m. Refreshments and door prizes are also Tour of Homes events. Harry Norman, Realtors® is the sponsor of an exclusive look at three Atlanta art collections which include works by women artists. Works of art will be viewed in the homes of well-known Atlantans Sally and Allen McDaniel, Sue and John Wieland and Marianne and Richard Lambert. The Georgia Committee of the National Museum of Women in the Arts, located in Washington, D.C., is working to provide works by some of Georgia’s well known and respected artists in the National Museum’s collection. This will be a wonderful salute and tribute to the talented women in Georgia. The collection will begin with works by the late Genevieve Arnold and Annette Cone-Skelton. Photo/Special. Yard sale to benefit realtor from Keller Williams RealtyKeller Wiliams Realty will have a yard sale on Oct. 14 to raise money for realtor Brent Yates. Yates, a Hampton resident who has been with Keller Williams for a year, was injured in an ATV accident. After three weeks of numerous surgeries to try to save his right leg, it was amputated below the knee. Yates, who is married with three children, has no health insurance and his wife was unable to work while he was in the hospital. Plans are underway for the 2006 Annual Women’s Council of Realtors (WCR) Golf Tournament and Fund Raiser. The event will be on Tuesday, Oct. 10 at Whitewater Creek Country Club in Fayetteville. Proceeds will benefit Promise Place which assists domestic abuse victims in Fayette County.
