Peachtree
City officials have received numerous complaints about 15-year-old golf
cart drivers violating the rules of the road by failing to stop at stop

special committee will be appointed to investigate whether Peachtree
City should require golf cart owners to carry liability insurance on

discussion moved to next Tyrone meeting
The
Tyrone Town Council met last Thursday but the meeting, which was to
feature more discussion on the possible rezoning of the Smith estate
by developer Burt Clark, was fairly uneventful.

their back yards have to pay thousands of dollars more due to problems

UPS scholarship. Smith is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Basil Smith of

store opening to benefit animal shelter
The Ivy Post, a
recently opened antique and gift shop in Fayetteville, will host a grand
opening event Saturday from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. with a portion of the proceeds
benefiting the Fayette County Animal Shelter.

The Southern Crescent
Chorale, an elite new choral group comprised of Atlanta-area residents,
will host its Inaugural Gala at the Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center
