Free workshops for women entering workforce or changing careers The Women's Success Network, Inc. of Fayetteville has announced a series of workshops designed to help women who are entering the workforce for the first time or who are changing careers either voluntarily or involuntarily. The workshops are: Understanding the Hiring Process - Oct. 24, 6:30-8 p.m.; Preparing for the Interview/Managing Perceptions, Nov. 21, 6:30-8:00 p.m.; Planning for Success - Career Insurance, Dec. 19, 6:30-8:00 p.m.; Resumés - Creating Impact, Jan. 16, 2003, 6:30-8 p.m.; and Planning for Success - Career Insurance, Feb. 19, 2003, 6:30-8 p.m. The workshps will be held at 175 Bradford Square, Suite E, Fayetteville, Ga. All workshops are free, but reservations are required. The Women's Success Network, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that assists low-income women in their job search. They provide suitable clothing for interviews and the first few days of work and give women the opportunity to purchase a limited number of outfits for a nominal charge. They provide trainers, speakers and consultants to clubs, corporations and organizations and deliver a variety of educational programs. The Women's Success Network, Inc. also seeks working or retired volunteers to make a one-year commitment to be a mentor for low-income women.
