Clayton State Theatre Harries the Hallowed Halls with Haunted Lives

If darkness and eeriness, blood and gore is not your thing, then you had better stay at home and keep the doors locked and the windows bolted. On Oct. 24, 26, 30, and 31, the Clayton State Theater will be presenting "Haunted Lives" -- three chilling and frightful plays by John Pielmeire, best known for his play and movie "Agnes of God."

This Halloween special consists of three one-act plays: "A Witches Brew," "Ghost Stories," and "A Gothic Tale," all of which are guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat and your fingernails whittled to the nubs.

To make All Hallows Eve (Oct.31) even more interesting, the cast is asking the audience to "dress-up" for the occasion. At the end of the performance, they will select an audience member to receive a very special gift for the best costume.

Clayton State senior and long time theater enthusiast, Krystal Jackson, a resident of Morrow, directs the play. In addition, Haunted Lives also features three other Clayton State students, Molly Martin of Fayetteville, Wyatt Lowe of McDonough and Scott Hughes of Hampton.

So come along (if you dare) and enjoy a night out with your family and friends at Clayton State Theater. All performances begin at 8 p.m. and general admission is $8. Students and seniors are half-price and LINX cardholders, as always, are free.
