Antique store opening to benefit animal shelter

The Ivy Post, a recently opened antique and gift shop in Fayetteville, will host a grand opening event Saturday from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Fayette County Animal Shelter.

The shop features antiques, shabby chic decor and interior items, vintage evening dresses, sterling silver jewelry, glassware, vintage and artist dolls, retro kitchen items, and local artist stained glass, mosaic glass, china mosaics and pottery.

Refreshments will be provided. The public is invited to come out and support the animal shelter. The Ivy Post is at 680 South Glynn Street, across from the Speedi-Pig.
