Sturbaum handily beats King in PTC runoff

Doug Sturbaum handily won the runoff election for the Post 2 seat in Peachtree City.

With all precincts reporting, Sturbaum took 838 votes (61 percent) while opponent Mike King took 522 votes (38 percent).

The two-wheeled scooter was turned down by council in April, but the city is reconsidering the matter in light of a presentation from company representatives last week.
