The vote clears the way for Capital City Development to seek up to three stores of no more than 50,000 square feet each and a total combined size of 175,000 square feet for the entire development. But should CCD seek any store larger than 32,000 square feet or the entire development to be larger than 150,000 square feet, it will have to seek a special use permit under the city's current big box ordinance. United Way in Fayette County gearing up for Women’s Legacy Shoebox Project 2008United Way Women’s Legacy is gearing up for the third annual Shoebox Project. Each year, individuals and companies throughout the metro area donate shoeboxes filled with toiletries to be given to homeless women and children in our community on Valentine’s Day. Last year more than 10,000 shoeboxes were collected and distributed to 48 homeless shelters across the 13-county region United Way serves. United Way in Coweta & Fayette Counties collected 325 shoeboxes from Coweta and Fayette last year.
