These are your people whether you admit it or not. These people are the TEA Party. The Vice President of the Southern Baptist Convention is about as definitive a Republican as you can get. Y'all are extremists. No moderation is allowed. Anyone who doesn't kowtow to your narrow agenda is denounced; Democrats are labeled as Marxists, Republicans as RINOs and Constitutionalists as appeasers. When right-wing nuts like the birthers show their strength in your movement you try to pretend their liberals like the ones you claim nominated McCain in the Republican primaries. That might make it easier for you to rationalize who your fellow travelers are but it doesn't make it true.

The TP is in fact made up of a wide ranging segment of society. Any group can have it's fringes.. you know that.. Lets see Michael Moore comes to mind as an example.

We will work to ferret out any fringers and RINOS that want to use us.

The birthers are not only right-wingers. They are so influential in the Party that the elected Republican Congressmen cower in fear of their wrath. Here's 15 or so Republican Congressmen and Senators, all of whom know the birthers are nuts, but each too afraid or too spineless to say so because their base would vote them out of office if they displayed public rationality:

They'd immediately be labeled as RINOs and purged.
