Peachtree City police are working a pickpocketing case from Dec. 26 in which two black men targeted an elderly woman shopping at the city’s Walmart superstore.

The incident occurred at about 1 p.m. when one subject started a conversation with the victim, distracting her from her purse and shopping cart, police said.

While she was distracted, a second person went through the woman’s purse and removed her wallet, police said.

Store surveillance video showed the two men leaving in a white minivan, possibly a Dodge Caravan model, police said. The victim’s credit card was used to purchase cigarettes and gas at the QT gas station on Ga. Highway 34 in Newnan, police said.

If this news was meant to be printed to give us "fair warning" about these activities, why so long to get it published?

A pair that was doing the same thing in SW Fulton. My mother-in-law got taken about a year ago by the same MO. I'm not sure if they were ever apprehended.
