Glenloch Fields

I just wanted to say "thanks" to the poor guy from Parks and Rec. who had to direct traffic at Glenloch field Saturday morning. Also, to the mom who jumped in to help park people. Anyone who has kids playing at Glenloch know to park against the fence. Somehow it didn't happen yesterday. I found out later that someone blocked the whole lane because they chose to park where they wanted and blocked the whole lane, creating a parking, entering, leaving nightmare. The guy from parks and rec. was just trying to get everybody moving in the right direction and he had people honking and yelling at him. Seriously? If the worst part of someone's day was being gridlocked at the soccer field and they had to take it out on the people trying to help-they need to get a life!

I noticed that when I take my daughter to the fields that no one seems to be parking close to the fence at all, but seem to be moving towards the field in the first place. Yet I see a lot of people on their way out cutting everyone else off, while on the phone and not even paying attention to the little ones walking back to their cars. It's a nightmare some days. It's real hard when leaving and the person in front of you takes up the whole entrance while someone is coming in to pick up their kids, and then slowly turn one way or the other while traffic is coming towards them.

Agree - he did a great job (he could have easly just walked away) and was not helped by the lady in the red suv who tried to do a U Turn right at the entrance and got stuck while yammering on her phone...argh...
