• Player of the year - Erin Emerson - Whitewater - Although she dazzled us with her speed as a freshman, assisting Whitewater to a state soccer title, Emerson excelled in her sophomore season with 27 goals and three assists. She is a tenacious player and extremely fun to watch.

• Coach of the Year - Marcia Clark - McIntosh - In arguably the toughest region in the state, Clark and her Lady Chiefs won another region title and made a strong showing in the state playoffs.
