With the school board’s most recent rezoning, I look forward to the morning and afternoon commutes on Redwine. Wilshire, now zoned to Braelinn, will drive north, past all of the families from Timberlake, Highgrove and Whitewater driving south to Peeples. Not to mention the county’s buses criss-crossing each other every day for the same purpose. Never mind the fact that the golf cart paths will now go unused as each of the four neighborhoods will be driving their children, or busing their children rather than saving gas and traffic concerns by using golf carts. Makes no sense. Gee, did politics play a part with the school board?

Attention Lynn Westmoreland: According to the latest Gallup poll (11/8-10), fewer than one in 10 adults say they would vote for a congressional candidate who is a Republican and who agrees with Bush on most major issues. Even among Republicans, 7 of 10 are more likely to support a candidate who has at least some policy disagreements with the president. Bush is toast, and will be bringing these sleazy, corrupt Republicans down, just like he did their candidates for governor in New Jersey and Virginia. How’s that real estate business going Lynn? Got something to fall back on after the fall?

I really had no idea the PTC Fire Department was a union shop.

Now that PTC has reached mediocrity with all of the "big boxes" and traffic problems, please, let's keep our honest government with Steve Brown as mayor.

Those who watched Steve Brown's reaction to Bob Lenox's presentation at last week's city council meeting would have to wonder if Steve's truly not able to recognize how inconsistent his comments are or if he's run out of his medication. PTC Citizens, do us all a favor and vote ANYONE else in office next month.

The developing cat-fight between the international and domestic flight attendants is already better than championship “wrasslin” ever used to be. I sure hope somebody throws more fuel on that fire.
