Responding to the scores of angry parents who continued to flood the central office with calls of complaint this week about drastically reduced bus routes, the Fayette County school system issued an apology Tuesday morning.

The Fayette County School Board will consider a number of options to raise the estimated $1.56 million it needs to "top off" renovations and additions at McIntosh High School, construction work it signed off on last week by awarding a contract, even though it lacks the funding mechanism to finish the job.

The 2003-2004 Georgia Hunting Seasons and Regulations Guide now is available announces the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Wildlife Resources Division.
