Police: Harmony Village residents 'looted' apt.By JOHN
MUNFORD
Six adults and three juveniles have been arrested after Peachtree City police probed the theft of items from a unit at Harmony Village Apartments last week. In some cases, parents told juveniles to take items from the apartment, police said. Police Chief James Murray called the incident "controlled looting." The victim said the items were taken while she was in the process of moving out of her apartment, Murray said. The following adults, who were charged with theft by taking, are all residents of Harmony Village, police said: Connie Coleman, 31, Horace Taylor Jr., 24, Antonio Blandburg, 18, Sharron Blandburg, 39, Carlanda Blandburg, 17. Another resident at the apartments, Geno Robinson, 22, was arrested for criminal trespassing. Three juveniles were also arrested, ages 10, 11 and 12, all of whom also live at the apartment complex, police said. The juveniles were each charged with theft by taking. Most of the items taken during the theft have been recovered, Murray said. Other arrests are expected as more stolen property is recovered, police said.
