Police: Lewd phone calls lead to arrest A south Fayette man has been arrested for making several lewd phone calls. Jeffery David Allen, 38, is charged with five counts of making lewd or obscene phone calls. One of the victims claims Allen called her residence several times during July although the other charges indicate he called several other victims between midnight and 3 a.m. on Tuesday, July 22. Detectives are also asking witnesses to step forward if they have received lewd phone calls, said Lt. Col. Bruce Jordan of the Fayette County Sheriff's Department. After making an untoward overture, Allen would typically "play off" the call by claiming he intended to call someone else, Jordan noted. John Munford What do you think of this story?
