The Whitewater Wildcats capitalized on a blocked punt early in their game against McIntosh and never looked back.
Whitewater defeated McIntosh 27-0 and got touchdown runs from Austin Faulkner, Thomas Frierson and David Byrd. Faulkner’s touchdown was a one yard run in the first quarter, Frierson scored on a two yard run in the second quarter and a 55 yard run in the third quarter and Byrd scored on a 35 yard keeper just over two minutes later. Click HERE to see the photo of the gunman. The man who robbed the Southcrest Bank in Fayetteville shortly after 9 a.m. Wednesday came prepared to execute the crime. But he was sloppy, dropping an estimated three-quarters of the money in a wooded area behind the bank as he made his getaway, said Beverly Trainor of the Fayetteville Police Department.
