Juvenile judge rules PTC’s armed robbery teens ‘delinquent’

Four Peachtree City teens were found delinquent in juvenile proceedings last week stemming from the planned armed robbery of another child on the golf cart path near Blue Smoke park Dec. 22, officials said.

But Councilwoman Judi-ann Rutherford said she’d prefer the association not have such direct political ties. A south Fayette man fought with nine deputies after breaking into a home near his house on Rising Starr Road Thursday, police said.

Employee robbed after closing

Two men dressed in all black clothing robbed the employee of an emissions shop on Ga. Highway 138 north early Monday evening, police said.

Would-be robber shoots self

A plot by several juveniles to rob a 16-year-old was foiled Christmas Day, and then the gunman accidentally shot himself in the ankle while they tried to speed away from the scene, police said.
