Mr. and Mrs. Robert Johnson of Peachtree City announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Beth Johnson, to James Stephen Dixon, son or Mr. and Mrs. James Dixon of Suwanee.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Bill and Loraine Baldwin of Brooks. She is a graduate of McIntosh High School and The University of West Georgia where she majored in marketing.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Imogene Barronton and the late Clyde Barronton of Villa Rica. He is a graduate of Collins Hill High School and a graduate of The University of West Georgia where he majored in political science and was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. He is employed at Strong Pharmaceutical Services in Norcross.

The couple will be married in April 2010, at the Peachtree City United Methodist Church in Peachtree City. Following a honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple will reside in Duluth, Ga.
