Fayette County Sheriff's Office

The following activity log information was provided by Fayette County Sheriff’s Office and covers Aug. 12 - Sept. 1.

*Fayette County Sheriff’s investigator’s made an arrest on August 24 involving a theft by deception case which occurred on June 22. Investigators have arrested Warith Omar McDaniel of Lawrenceville and charged him with theft by deception.

This case involved McDaniel purchasing a laptop computer at a local computer store with a check from a closed bank account.

*Fayette County Sheriff’s investigators made an arrest on August 20 involving an identity theft case which occurred on May 27. Investigators have arrested Aquarvis Boozer of Coweta County and charged him with identity fraud.

This case involved Boozer fraudulently cashing checks in the victim’s name.

*Fayette County Sheriff’s investigators made two arrests on August 20 in an identity theft case which occurred June 8. Investigators have arrested Jeffrey Johnson and Hilton Andrew, both of Atlanta, GA and charged them with identity fraud.

The case involved the two obtaining and cashing a check which belonged to a local business.

*Fayette County Sheriff’s investigators located a tractor belonging to the Fayette County Road Department. The tractor was reported stolen on July 30 from Woolsey-Brooks Road after being parked overnight alongside the roadway. The tractor was being used to mow grass along the road.

The tractor was recovered outside Fayette County and the case is still under investigation. No arrests have been made at this time.

*Fayette County Sheriff’s investigators made an arrest on August 17 in a burglary case which had occurred earlier that date. Investigators have arrested Jandala Timmons of Fayette County and charged him with burglary.

This case involved Timmons entering and removing items from inside a residence on Zelkova Drive in Fayette County.

*Fayette County Sheriff’s investigators made an arrest on August 17 in a theft by taking case which had occurred earlier that date. Investigators have arrested a Fayette County juvenile and charged him with theft by taking.

This case involved the Juvenile stealing a cell phone from the victim on Zelkova Dr. in Fayette County.

*Fayette County Sheriff’s investigators made two arrests on August 12 in a theft by taking case which occurred on August 6. Investigators have arrested Tina Marie Stephens and Brian Patrick Eldridge, both from Fayette County, and charged them with theft by taking.

This case involved the two taking a dog from a residence on South Jeff Davis Drive in Fayette County.

*Fayette County Sheriff’s investigators made an arrest on August 14 in a case that involved aggravated stalking which occurred on August 7. Investigators have arrested Mathew Calzaretta of Fayette County and charged him with aggravated stalking.

This case involved Calzaretta violating a court order issued by the Fulton County Magistrate court.

*Fayette County Sheriff’s investigators made an arrest on September 1 in a case that involved aggravated stalking which occurred on August 31. Investigators have arrested Devin Cody Phillips of Fayette County and charged him with aggravated stalking.

This case involved Phillips violating a Temporary Protective Order issued by the Fayette County Magistrate Court.
