Despite a recent media report to the contrary, it seems Costco isn’t close to coming to Peachtree City after all.

On Thursday night, the Tyrone Town Council vote unanimously to allow radio broadcasting studios in the C-2-Downtown Commercial zoning district. The vote clears the way for the station to move into the Legacy Theatre building, just off Ga. Highway 74.

Suit: chemicals migrated to three properties

At Crossroads Christian School, it’s more than A-B-C’s and 1-2-3’s. Each class at Crossroads chooses two service projects per school year to express love & gratitude toward others in the community and to foster an attitude of Christian service in the students. The re-use and rehabilitation plan for the Coweta County Courthouse is moving right along. The selective demolition and non historic removal portion of the work is almost complete. Final evaluations of the building are underway and the exterior of the copper dome will be inspected with the use of a large crane beginning Tuesday, April 15. The crane will be parked on the south side of the square and will allow architects to inspect the structure from the outside at the highest points.
