New chief takes oath

New Peachtree City Police Chief Halifax C. “Skip” Clark was welcomed to Peachtree City Thursday night when he was sworn in by Mayor Harold Logsdon. Clark said he was particularly proud of the city’s officers who make the department so great. A large contingent of officers attended the meeting as a visible showing of support. Photo/John Munford.

I hear that the new chief is making some much needed changes. I also hear he has a sense of humor that doesn't involve degrading his own officers. Way to go chief!

I've heard nothing but good things so far - let's take it easy on the guy if hasn't given us any reason to dislike or degrade him.
