Kiwanis helps conservation trust

The McIntosh Trail Kiwanis Club

The McIntosh Trail Kiwanis Club has donated $250 to the Southern Conservation Trust to further its efforts to protect greenspace in Fayette and Coweta counties. The Trust owns, manages and protects over 1,300 acres, including four donated preserves – Flat Creek Nature Area in Peachtree City and Line Creek Nature Area, on the border of Fayette and Coweta counties. In 2008 the Trust is working to open two new preserves in Fayette County for our residents’ enjoyment – Sams Lake Bird Sanctuary and Morgan Grove Preserve.
