Dave Ramsey’s 13-week lessons on getting out of debt, Financial Peace University, will begin at The Rock Baptist Church on Sandy Creek Road Sunday, March 1, at 3 p.m. The program teaches families and individuals how to handle their money through common-sense principles and small group accountability.

Newberry singers to perform at COS

The Newberry College Singers will perform a free concert at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, Monday March 9, at 7 p.m. The appearance in Peachtree city is a part of a 10-day tour from March 8-17 and the singers will make stops in Atlanta, Peachtree City, Savannah, and Kennesaw, Huntsville, Ala., and end in Newberry, S.C.

Connect Ministries’ Gabe Norris will lead workshop at PTC UMC

The Peachtree City United Methodist church announces an Equipping Parents Workshop to be held Friday, March 27, at 7 p.m. The theme is “Equipping Parents to Raise Spiritual Children.”

Christ Church at Whitewater will host the life-saving services of Life Line Screening, the nation’s largest provider of community-based preventive screenings, to help local residents identify their risk of stroke, vascular disease and osteoporosis before the catastrophic effects of these conditions can occur.

The women of Fayetteville Christian Church will host a program presented by Sharon Thomas of Established Footsteps Ministry at a covered dish luncheon Monday, Feb. 23, from 9 a.m. until noon. Loving Choices group starts in PTC
GraceLife Ministries at First Baptist Church in Peachtree City is offering a new women’s support group, Loving Choices, which will meet on Thursday nights from 7-8:30 p.m. The group is free, is open to women of all ages, and will provide free childcare. GraceLife Support groups are for those who struggle with or who are in recovery from grief, anger, alcohol, drug and sexual addictions. The ministry currently offers Men’s Freedom from addictions, Grief Share, and Loving Choices.
