Peachtree City residents Christian Vehrs and Donna King (Dandylion) of the St. Paul Lutheran Church Medical Mission Team visited World Gospel’s Orphanage called “Rancho Ebenezer” on the outskirts of Tegucigalpa, Honduras. The team was in Honduras for a week and set up a medical brigade in the capital city, Tegucigalpa, where residents could come and have their medical needs addressed. Doctors and nurses were on hand and supported the team in fields of internal medicine, optometry, dentistry and chiropractic medicine. The team also had a children’s ministry and evangelism component. During the week, they saw more than 2,400 people, a record for the team that has only been in existence for the past three years. Those interested in joining the team are asked to contact St. Paul Lutheran Church, 770-487-0339. Photo/Special login to post comments |
