The Newberry College Singers will perform a free concert at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, Monday March 9, at 7 p.m. The appearance in Peachtree city is a part of a 10-day tour from March 8-17 and the singers will make stops in Atlanta, Peachtree City, Savannah, and Kennesaw, Huntsville, Ala., and end in Newberry, S.C.

The theme of this year’s tour is “Transformation,” and will feature choral music organized around the ideas of musical and spiritual change. Each concert will present choral masterworks from over four centuries of musical history.

“This concert is full of exciting music for everyone,” said Dr. Chuck Neufeld, conductor of Newberry College Singers. “The pieces that we will perform on the concert represent transformation in many interesting ways.”
