Loving Choices group starts in PTC
GraceLife Ministries at First Baptist Church in Peachtree City is offering a new women’s support group, Loving Choices, which will meet on Thursday nights from 7-8:30 p.m. The group is free, is open to women of all ages, and will provide free childcare. GraceLife Support groups are for those who struggle with or who are in recovery from grief, anger, alcohol, drug and sexual addictions. The ministry currently offers Men’s Freedom from addictions, Grief Share, and Loving Choices. Groups meet at the church, 208 Willowbend Rd., Thursday nights from 7-8:30 p.m. For more information, call 770-487-8133.

POP Youth Praise Band concert is Feb. 7
Prince of Peace Lutheran Church on Hwy 314 in Fayetteville will host a Benefit Concert featuring area youth bands on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 each or $20 per family and will benefit “The Reggie Johnson Fund” to help other cancer fighters and survivors. PTC Presbyterian starts new p.m. service
A new worship event is starting on the south side of Atlanta, on Sunday, Feb. 8 at 6:30 p.m. in the main auditorium at First Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City. All are invited to this new service led by worship leaders Jay and Abby Akins, along with senior pastor Dr. David Miller. First Presbyterian Church is at 206 Willowbend Road across from City Hall. Used Book Sale set for this Sunday
The Church of the Nativity will have a Used Book Sale featuring DVDs and children’s books this Sunday, Feb. 8, from 12:30 to 3 p.m. The church is at 130 Antioch Road, Fayetteville.

Flat Creek offers Valentine dinner, movie
Flat Creek Baptist Church will present “Fireproof Your Marriage,” featuring dinner and a movie Saturday, Feb. 14, beginning at 5 p.m. The cost is $10 per person and reservations must be made by Feb. 8. Curriculum Day planned at St. Andrew’s
St. Andrew’s in the Pines Day School in Peachtree City will host a Curriculum Day on Feb. 9 at 9:15 a.m. to kick off registration for the 2009-2010 school year. Preschool classes are available for children ages 1 to 4. A kindergarten class also is offered. All interested parents are invited to attend and learn more about the school. CDM revival set for Feb. 20
