Last year, 3,000 people consumed 10,000 pancakes at the 15th Annual Pancake Saturday sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Peachtree City. They realized that not only was the all-you-can-eat meal of pancakes, sausage, orange juice, milk, coffee and tea mighty tasty, but a great bargain at just $4 per person. Plus, they discovered that everyone there was laughing and having a great time. And the kids loved it! They enjoyed the antics of the clown troupe from New Hope Baptist Church, free face painting, balloons and pancake eating contest while the adults caught up on the latest gossip from their friends and neighbors or just listened to the old tunes sung by a strolling barbershop quartet. They realized this really was what it was advertised to be: the premier mid-winter social event in Peachtree City!
