masked08: So, I got pulled over today in PTCand you'll never guess the reason. Because I have a temporary tag on my car - dated Oct. 18, 2008. The officer approached and asked for license and insurance, no problem. I politely (I grew up around law enforcement, I know my manners) asked why I was being stopped. She gave a - don't ask me questions attitude - which I know is part of the game. She said she would explain when she came back. Fair enough. I knew I wasn't speeding or anything. masked08: Fayetteville CurfewThere is an article on ajc regarding the new curfew in town. Nothing is here yet though. I'll admit that I haven't mastered the links ... Could someone do the honors ... masked08: Shame on PTCfor trying to run the tattoo shop out of town. Even though some look down on this practice, body modification is body modification. Getting a tattoo is no different than getting your ears pierced, getting Botox, or having plastic surgery. We all know that there are plenty of people in PTC that have had some sort of modification. masked08: Relay for LifeCome out and support our cancer survivors. They have endured a battle like no other. Location: The Kwanis fairgrounds at Hwy 85 and Goza Road. masked08: Ballard + Duncanmasked08: LaFayette Nursing and RehabI need the good, bad and ugly on this place. My Grandmother has been sent there for rehab for a short time. The problem that I have is that she is not on the rehab hall, she is in general population, so to speak, and thinks we have moved her in there. masked08: The BIG Thank YouIf you were a soldier serving abroad, how would it make you feel to receive a letter of thanks on Thanksgiving? Q100 wants to get a thank you letter in the hands of every service member serving abroad. They estimate needing 375,000 letters. masked08: Breast Cancer 3 DayThe time is near! This is the most noble of journeys for me so far in my lifetime. My Grandmother and Aunt are both survivors of breast cancer. masked08: Dogs in Cars in this HeatTo the ignorant, doesn't give a crap about her dog, woman at the WM in PTC today at lunch. I can only hope that you are left to suffer at some point as your dog did today. Why was I so mad, you wonder?? That beautiful Wimey of yours is so unfortunate to have you as it owner. It was 95 on the thermometer, which means it was probably 140 in that car. I don't give a F if you left the windows cracked 2-3 inches. I don't care if you leave the poor dear to suffer in the summer sun and heat at home and you think she is fine. She is not. Dogs can sunburn. Dogs pant for a reason. Because they are HOT. That's not how she breathes normally. She was struggling to cool herself, to no avail. masked08: Hwy 74 pavingCan someone explain why they are paving 74 when they are just going to repave it once the other side is done? masked08: Medical info. Bracelets and CharmsA little background... My Grandmother recently began taking a blood thinner. I looked into getting her one of those very popular bracelets to wear so that everyone would know that she is on the thinner if something should happen. Well, I didn't like the idea of paying @ $50 for an i.d. bracelet. If it was the only alternative, I would gladly pay it, don't get me wrong. masked08: The Fairtax PlanWe has a wonderfully informative meeting in Newnan this morning. Thank you to Congressman Linder for speaking to us. masked08: Flag EtiquetteTo our local businesses that don't seem to know how to properly display a flag in a time of mourning, please see the website below. It is a simple set of rules. masked08: A feel good story for yall!!Ford employee won $225k on the last day of ops in Hapeville http://www.ajc.com/business/content/business/stories/2006/10/27/1027bizlottery.html masked08: Kmart ... HELLO!!!Today I went by Kmart in PTC at lunch to pick up a few things. They had 2 registers open. A lot of people run out on their lunch *hour* to pick up things so they don't have to do it on their way home. I was the 4th person in line at #2 then the rude girl calls back "I'm closed". No "Sorry, could you go the next register" or "Could you let everyone behind you know that I am closed after you". WTF? I then went over to "Customer Service" to check out and asked why they only have 1 checkout open with so many people in the store. I was ignored. Then the lady proceeded to sniff my air freshener, comment on 2 other things I was purchasing, then ask me if I would like to pay for today's purchase with my Sears card. Did you not just see me run my debit card through the machine??? masked08: McDs Monopoly GameAnybody playing the Monopoly game? I am making a bold proposition (so my Hubby says). I have 3 of the RR. Yes, the ones that you have a chance to win $5 mil. I say chance because they do. We got 2 here and 1 in NC. If anyone has the SHORT LINE RR stamp I will split the $$. I figure 1 out of 4 is worth 1/4 of the money. That's $1.3 mil before taxes. They spread it out over 20 years, but that is still $20k per month, if my math is working. I will be soooo happy to send someone a $5k check every month. masked08: Benefit Concert for 173d this Saturday 10/7Check this out .. You may have to copy and paste, sorry. masked08: Plants $50 /truck Brooks???Has anyone heard of the plant place in Brooks that has a year end clearance @ $50 per truckload. I am told it is not the one at 85 and 85 Conn. masked08: I remember when ...Let's be friendly and positive here please ... I remember when Mr. Jamie Lynch handed out lollipops at the Farmer's and Merchants Bank on West Lanier. masked08: WHAT WAS THAT???!!!I work on Huddleston in PTC. It just sounded like a 747 just tried to land at Falcon Field. Anybody have any info?? |
