So, I got pulled over today in PTC

and you'll never guess the reason.

Because I have a temporary tag on my car - dated Oct. 18, 2008.

The officer approached and asked for license and insurance, no problem. I politely (I grew up around law enforcement, I know my manners) asked why I was being stopped. She gave a - don't ask me questions attitude - which I know is part of the game. She said she would explain when she came back. Fair enough. I knew I wasn't speeding or anything.

for trying to run the tattoo shop out of town. Even though some look down on this practice, body modification is body modification. Getting a tattoo is no different than getting your ears pierced, getting Botox, or having plastic surgery. We all know that there are plenty of people in PTC that have had some sort of modification.

I need the good, bad and ugly on this place. My Grandmother has been sent there for rehab for a short time. The problem that I have is that she is not on the rehab hall, she is in general population, so to speak, and thinks we have moved her in there.

To the ignorant, doesn't give a crap about her dog, woman at the WM in PTC today at lunch. I can only hope that you are left to suffer at some point as your dog did today. Why was I so mad, you wonder?? That beautiful Wimey of yours is so unfortunate to have you as it owner. It was 95 on the thermometer, which means it was probably 140 in that car. I don't give a F if you left the windows cracked 2-3 inches. I don't care if you leave the poor dear to suffer in the summer sun and heat at home and you think she is fine. She is not. Dogs can sunburn. Dogs pant for a reason. Because they are HOT. That's not how she breathes normally. She was struggling to cool herself, to no avail.

A little background... My Grandmother recently began taking a blood thinner. I looked into getting her one of those very popular bracelets to wear so that everyone would know that she is on the thinner if something should happen. Well, I didn't like the idea of paying @ $50 for an i.d. bracelet. If it was the only alternative, I would gladly pay it, don't get me wrong.

Today I went by Kmart in PTC at lunch to pick up a few things. They had 2 registers open. A lot of people run out on their lunch *hour* to pick up things so they don't have to do it on their way home. I was the 4th person in line at #2 then the rude girl calls back "I'm closed". No "Sorry, could you go the next register" or "Could you let everyone behind you know that I am closed after you". WTF? I then went over to "Customer Service" to check out and asked why they only have 1 checkout open with so many people in the store. I was ignored. Then the lady proceeded to sniff my air freshener, comment on 2 other things I was purchasing, then ask me if I would like to pay for today's purchase with my Sears card. Did you not just see me run my debit card through the machine???
