Almost every county in Georgia has asked for projects that would include improving county infrastructure and providing jobs. What happened to Fayette County? False pride - while we ask teachers to take a 4% pay cut?

To have the ability to put ones feelings on the written page is a gift. Muddle has that gift. After reading his contribution regarding his feelings about the practice of abortion in this country – I certainly understand his political stance on the subject. There was one sentence that stood out – the sentence where he stated that he and his wife made the choice to have their child. I applaud that decision. I feel that decision was based on the values and principles that they learned from their home training – as well as the community support. I just don’t feel they made that decision based on a ‘law’ imposed by government.

I remember German and Italian prisoners of war housed in certain locations in Pasadena, California. Of course we all remember the Japanese-American citizens who were 'housed' throughout our country. There are some states that would 'house' the 'gitmo' prisoners while they receive the American justice due them.

After tonight, my 97-year-old mother made a profound observation. It is true that she is from a wealthy family. It is true that she is considered by some to be attractive. It is true that she enjoys a 'spoiled' lifestyle. But when a politician used her name without her support, she correctly shed her public 'persona' - and offered the most intelligent solution to our energy crisis in a very concise statement.

A visionary in the Pasadena bicyling community has passed on. Did you know him or know of him? In my opinion - a young man!

It's important to start a program BEFORE the gang culture takes hold of a community. How? Continue to involve children in wholesome activities like Little League, Scouts, Church Activities, and family functions. Reach out to those students who are not participating in such activities - for whatever reason - and try to involve them before they seek the companionship of a 'gang'.
