Kudos to Paris Hilton

It is true that she is from a wealthy family. It is true that she is considered by some to be attractive. It is true that she enjoys a 'spoiled' lifestyle. It is true that she is considered 'blond' and 'dense'. But when a politician used her name without her support, she correctly shed her public 'persona' - and offered the most intelligent solution to our energy crisis in a very concise statement.

She showed the world what is behind a young woman who has formed an organization/business that is grossing millions; and a public relations team that has kept her in the pubic view for years. Brains!! Go Paris!

Oh, please. She has about a 7th grade intellect and is the poster child for why a lot of liberals want heavy inheritance/estate taxation. That's HOT!

The only thing I found amusing about the episode was that Paris' enabler parents both gave to the max to the McCain election campaign and no one on McCain's crack(heads?)staff thought "maybe we should substitute another skank instead of Paris Hilton in this bit?"

What is a "skank?"

Was Nancy Davis one when she ran around in the back seat with the old "rat pack?" (according to Peter Lawford's book).

They can be saved!

I thought the video was pretty hot. The girl did not use cue cards and made a very professional delivery in a COMEDY video. She is not the one who started it, the old wrinkled guy did.

ArmyBrat, I had as little respect for Paris as I did for Britney Spears, which is to say just about zero respect. However, you must admit she did a good job of responding to the clumsy slight that McCain gave her. You're probably right in that she had some help on the energy plan, but so did both McCain and Obama on theirs. I actually like her plan the best of the three, regardless of whoever actually came up with it.

By the way, I'm pro-Obama, but his energy plan is not as good as McCain's. The difference between me and some of you right-wingers is that I can pick and choose elements that I like from both candidates' platforms, kind of like Paris did. The truth is that both candidates have some positive qualities, and both have some weak areas. Party-line voters are blinded by their misplaced loyalty, and get stuck backing a loser like the current administration, way too long.

I have to disagree with you. She showed nothing except that she has no respect for anything or anyone and is just the self-serving, self-indulgent person we've all come to loathe. She was being tacky and just using an excuse for yet another pathetic public appearance.

You are right. She is the only one who really conveyed a plan that makes sense. Good job Paris!!
