Richard Hobbs: Jimmy's sending out invitations to his funeralI was watching the news over the weekend and saw how Jimmy Carter is trying desperately to get people to come to his funeral. I thought about how sad it is that a man as bright as he was, could have squandered so much of his life looking for power and accolades. Richard Hobbs: Don't Miss doing this in Atlanta this Summer!I hoped to pick the brains of you folks in order to find some hidden pearls here in the Atlanta area. I have company coming soon, and they wanted to see the sites. Having lived here for 27 years, I tend to be blinded by those things I've seen a dozen times. So please give me some feed back of those things you have found or that you recommend as a MUST SEE for visitors. Richard Hobbs: Squirrels in my atticI wanted to share this with everyone that has had the same problems that I've had. Eating my wires, raising babies, biting through the soffits, tearing up the insulation and generally just scampering around the ceiling. Argh! I missed the deadline to buy season passes and would love four seats-together, to this concert. Prefer Saturday night. Richard Hobbs: Commission v. The SheriffI have no dog in this fight. I’m happy with the police protection that we receive in this county and I’m pleased that the county commission is fighting to maintain the high standards we have here as to our housing densities and tax rates. Richard Hobbs: Is Fayette County Republican? The County Commission Post position will be old news in the next several weeks, but it will leave behind a story that will be with us for years to come. |
