principal
During this week's school board
meeting, the board hired Michael Wade. Wade
comes to Coweta from Sumter County, where he has been
principal of Sumter County High School for 6 years.
In addition, Wade holds an ED. S. degree in
Educational Leadership, is a reading specialist, and
has a degree in school counseling.

Senoia Speedway
Marc Mitchell from Tallahassee,
Fla. recorded his second win in two weeks in the Late
Model division at Senoia Speedway as he led the
remaining forty laps of the Allan Vigil Southlake
Ford 50. Mitchell's qualifying time topped the charts
with a 14.00 second lap.
Silverbacks defeat

The Silverbacks faced the
Pittsburgh Riverhounds at DeKalb Memorial Stadium
last Saturday and got a big win to go above .500.
